Lcdo. Robinson A. Cuello Shanlatte has established himself as one of the most prominent figures in Dominican real estate law, with over two decades of experience actively participating in the transformation of the country's legal and registry framework. His career exceptionally combines academic excellence, specialized legal practice, and a constant commitment to the modernization of real estate institutions.
As Legal Area Manager of the Land Jurisdiction Consolidation Program (PCJI), he led the implementation of Law 108-05 on Land Registry — the most significant reform of the property system in Dominican history — supervising the development of application regulations and decisively contributing to the design of the current registry system. He later served as Real Estate Legal Advisor to the Ministry of the Presidency.
Author of three reference works — including 'Law No. 108-05 on Land Registry, Commented and Annotated' (2022) — he is a professor at the main real estate and registry law master's programs at UNIBE and UASD, with teaching excellence awards in 2010, 2015, and 2016. His international projection has led him to give conferences at the University of La Plata (Argentina), where he was declared 'Distinguished Visitor', and collaborate with the World Bank's 'Doing Business' study.
